“The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.†–Eden Phillpotts
Are you using all of your resources to show up powerfully in the world or are you just throwing yourself out there and don’t care about how you’re perceived?
Throughout time, great value has been placed on education. It has been referred to by Joseph Addison as, “the sculpture that’s been made from a block of marble.†With education, the simple block of marble that is the human soul turns into a sculpture. Basically, in starting a business, establishing a business and owning a business, education is vital. It’s through education that you have more potential for success as you’re standing on the shoulders of those who came before you.
When you’re considering getting an education, there are three main types to choose from. With any kind of education you get, you learn a bit on how to it is you should be setting goals, you’ll learn how affirmations help in the success of a business, how to get organized and also the importance of networking to the success of a business. The three types are: formal education, non-formal education and information education.
With formal education, this most usually occurs in school. Here, you get to learn about trade skills, basic skills and academic skills. It covers elementary school education and continues on to secondary school education. Formal education is continued in the university or college with post secondary education.
Non-formal education on the other hand is also referred to as adult basic education. It can also be called school equivalency preparation or adult literacy education. In this type of education, you learn skills for the job, literacy and basic skills. This doesn’t have to be done in school. Self study and small classes can work for getting non-formal education.
Lastly, we have informal education. Getting informal education can be done anywhere. By reading a book, you can get information on how to get organized, do meditation, networking, and setting goals. All these are important if you want to reach your goal of setting up a six figure business. Also, you can get informal education from mentors or coaches.
From them, you learn about how limiting beliefs can also limit you. You learn about motivation and how to keep yourself moving forward to face life challenges. When you work with mentors and coaches you gain access to heir years of experience and the lessons they learned when they tried thing and failed, and when they tried things and succeeded. One of the most rewarding aspects of working with a coach is that you have someone in your corner whose only desire is to see you reach and exceed your goals. So often in life we are surrounded by people who do not push us to succeed. But, a coach will not let you give in to your urge to have a pity party when things don’t go your way. They will remind you that you must always get back up and keep moving forward.
When you combine what you’ve learned from all kinds of education, you can attain a certain kind of credibility in your business. When you create partnerships with other people and do networking, you then are using education as a way to stand on the shoulders of others.
